HOW TO USE POLYGON
Participate in the upcoming drops, use your Ethernity account with wallet connected and bridge ERN/ETH to Polygon, the protocol and framework for building and connecting Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks.

Free MATIC to everyone to pay for Polygon gas fees will be airdropped For newly created accounts with linked wallets, MATIC will be airdropped in ~5 minutes.

Bridge to Polygon
Bridge ERN and ETH with the Polygon chain. Use the widget to add funds to your Polygon wallet. Select the amount you want to bridge, please note that the transaction requires Ethereum gas fees.
START BRIDGE NOW
Transfers can take 40 minutes or longer to complete.
New To Polygon?
In order to bridge your ERN/ETH to the Polygon network, log-in to your Ethernity account and connect your wallet. Follow the instructions listed below and get prepared for the upcoming drop!
Step 1
Click on “Start Bridge Now”, select MetaMask wallet. Click on “Next” and authorize the connection by pressing “Connect”, and “Sign”.
Step 2
Select the amount of tokens you would like to bridge, select “POS” as a transfer mode, and click on “Deposit to Polygon”.
Step 3
Click on “Approve” and then “Confirm” in the MetaMask pop-up.
Step 4
Finalize the process by clicking on “Deposit” and then “Confirm” in the MetaMask pop-up to complete the bridge. You are done!

What is Polygon?
Polygon combines the best of Ethereum and sovereign blockchains into a full-fledged multi-chain system. Polygon, formerly known as the Matic Network, is a scaling solution that aims to provide multiple tools to improve the speed and reduce the cost and complexities of transactions on blockchain networks
How can I switch to the Polygon network using my Metamask wallet?
Open MetaMask and click the network dropdown menu, which is located at the top of the window. This will say “Ethereum Mainnet” by default.
Click “Custom RPC” and input the following details:
  • Network Name: Polygon New RPC URL: https://polygon-rpc.com
  • ChainID: 137
  • Symbol: MATIC
  • Block Explorer URL: https://polygonscan.com
What token do I need to have in order to pay for the gas fees on Polygon?
To execute the transaction on the Polygon network, you need to have a Matic token in your wallet. Polygon’s gas fees are thousands of times smaller than those on Ethereum and we will airdrop all our customers with Matic to cover the transaction fee related to their purchase.
How can I buy ERN/ETH on Polygon?
  • Visit https://quickswap.exchange/
  • Click “Connect Your Wallet” and select “MetaMask”
  • Authorize the connection in MetaMask pop-up by clicking “Next” and “Connect”
  • Input number of MATIC you would like to swap into ERN/ETH token and click “Swap”, then “Confirm Swap”.
  • Authorize the transaction in MetaMask
  • Once completed, you will see MetaMask pop-up with confirmation message
How can I bridge ERN/ETH to Polygon from Ethereum network?
  • At the very top of the website, select “Bridge to Polygon”
  • Click on “Open Bridge Now”, then
  • Click on MetaMask, “Next” and authorize the connection by pressing “Connect”, and “Sign”
  • Input the amount of tokens you would like to bridge, select “POS” as a transfer mode and click on “Deposit to Polygon”
  • Click on “Approve” and then “Confirm” in the MetaMask pop-up
  • Finalize the process by clicking on “Deposit” and then “Confirm” in the MetaMask pop-up to effectively bridge the tokens
